A passion for travel

Hi, I’m Mallory, founder of Love Your World and an avid traveler. My love for traveling began at 22 years of age traveling to Chengdu, China for a student teaching trip to finish my major in Education. While on this trip, I was hosted by a non-english speaking family for a few weeks. Pushed so far outside of my comfort zone, I was feeling a way I had never felt before— elated, using a part of my brain I had never used before, and itching for more. While on that trip, I decided to book a trip to Thailand to tag on to the end of this adventure.

Coming back was a mixed bag of feelings. I believed that to my core I was a changed person who had just experienced the beautiful cultures of two very unique places. I had to pick up on subtle body language, facial expressions, and instincts to get around. I wanted people to feel differently just by being around me after my trip, but when I came back, it was like I had never left. The conversations were the same, places to gather hadn’t changed a bit(not even the change of a lightbulb or a roll of toilet paper), and after a quick 5 minute, “How was your trip?” the flow of conversations centered around things far less interesting.

This is when I knew that I had to continue exploring outside of where I lived. I had to keep planning and booking new places each year. That in turn, led to visiting almost 30 countries by the time I was 30. Only starting at the age of 22, and with a teacher’s salary, I felt this to be a huge accomplishment. I have given countless suggestions to friends and family, booked similar trips for people, heard many people say they would like to travel like me, and shared many, many experiences on social platforms- the good, the bad, and the ugly.

Now it is my turn to live vicariously through my clients by offering them tailored and specific packages to their specific needs, wants, and goals while traveling. While I am not a fan of a traditional spreadsheet that has every minute of every day planned out, I am here to give you a variety of options for lodging, dining, excursions, and more! I believe that once you have those things in your pocket, your trip will fall into place and you will be left with availability to go with the flow once you are there— a huge perk of traveling without a 10 page long Google Spreadsheet. You will have everything you need and nothing that you don’t. It would be my honor to plan your next trip and sit back and watch you Love. Your. World.
